PLACE: Norton Simon Museum

Tucked away in Pasadena, California is an amazing private collection of artworks. Collected by Norton Simon over 30 years. Ranging from an insane collection of South and Southeast Asian art (spanning 2000 years!) to European masterworks. There is always a really special exhibit - some of my favorites have been lithographs by Ellsworth Kelly and special prints by Goya. There are gardens to stroll with some of the best sculptures. I was recently there with a friend and it was such a perfect day… lunch at the cafe and then time with art!
